Support Literacy in Michigan!
Since 2016, PoWeR! Book Bags has distributed over 500,000 books to children along with over 85,000 bags filled with supplies to encourage language play, writing, and creativity.
We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 812406342) powered primarily by volunteers and a few staff; that means we need YOU to help us spread the PoWeR of language, learning, and human interaction!

$25 sponsors one child to receive PoWeR! Book Bags at a school for a year
$150 sponsors a family at the health department with books each month and a bag for one year
$200 sponsors 20 starter PoWeR! Language sets
$500 sponsors a preschool classroom to receive PoWeR! Book Bags for a year
$1000 sponsors children receiving home visits from Early Head Start in one county
$2500 sponsors one year of PoWeR! Book Bags Materials for a small baby pantry
